A BIG PROBLEM....

How can I change the fonts of news ?

check in MojStill.css and setup there which font should appear.

does anyone have the SQL tables that goes along with phpNewsManager

sql is included in install.php script

but the path of functions.php is in simply davidyou/public_html/newman/functions.php
or in relation in directories, it is simply functions.php when compared to install.php etc.
how do i get rid of this problem? thanks alot!

and when we install, and they ask for the path, is it the relative path of where we put the install.php file?

Well.... I still wqith a big problem..
How can i change the number of news to apper in index ? and the other categories.

For example:
I have 3 categories and want to show 5 news in index, 15 in other and 10 in other.

And i cant see more than 10 news in 1 category... how can i see the other 2 news that ive added (ive 12 news in one category in 1 day). }:? }:? }:?

OK I´ve jsut installed the script, all is looking good except for two things (so far).

I was getting permission errors when trying to submit news but I CHMOD´d news.rss to 744 as suggested above, which fixes that, but I´m not sure if htats a security issue or not.

When trying to add users I get the following error....

Error:Column count doesn´t match value count at row 1

Which looks like a pathing error, if so, which one and where? If not, then any idea?

Hello.
I´m 100%, completely new to Apache, PHP, and mysql. I´ve been fooling around with different scripts and everything and have gotten some to work. Currently, I want to get this phpNewsManager to work, but I don´t know how to set permissions on the folders/files. (the 777 and 666). I´m running apache on a windows based machine, phpadmin is installed, and mysql... like I said, I´m completely new to this stuff.

Also, I´m not sure if I´m doing this right either, but whenever I got to ´/localhost/newsmanager/newman/install.php´ , I enter in a username and password, and click submit and it just refreshes and clears the form.

Any help would be appriciated.

PHPwebMagazine - Submit user news problem
Hi, it seems to me that something is wrong with
submitting news by users with WebMagazine with
index.php?action=show&type=addnews

function ShowAddNewsPage()
does not see the login/username,
so the
if(empty($GLOBALS[´login´]))
is always "true".

Even if I´m logged in I can not submit user news!

Can someone pls verify this and let me know if there is a fix. And... thank you for a fantastic script, btw.

Hi all.. I just uploaded phpNewsManager & phpWebMagazine and everything works fine except the photos
this is the directory list:
in the Main Dir I have a NEWMAN directory and a MAGAZINE directory
if I enter a news I can see the news but not the uploaded picture...
this is the path that the picture follows:
FC/magazine/gfx/news/canale.gif
but the photo has been actually uploaded in this directory
FC/news/gfx/news/canale.gif

I think I made a mistake in the configuration...
How to change it ???
