Rainlendar 2.24.1 is now available, bringing fixes for Linux scrolling, Windows installers, QuickAdd input, and dark-mode help pages.

Rainlendar 2.24.1 has been released, bringing a focused maintenance update to the customizable desktop calendar application.

Rainlendar is a lightweight calendar and task tool designed to stay visible on the desktop without getting in the way. It keeps events and tasks close at hand while allowing users to match the calendar to their desktop style through skins and visual customization.

Version 2.24.1 fixes a scroll wheel issue on Linux, making interaction smoother for users who rely on mouse scrolling inside the application.

The release also restores missing libical libraries in the Windows installers. This is an important packaging fix because calendar libraries are a core part of how the application handles calendar data.

Windows users also receive a QuickAdd fix. The QuickAdd edit control now properly registers the Enter key, improving one of the fastest ways to add new events and tasks.

Rainlendar 2.24.1 also improves the built-in help experience by fixing help pages that were not displayed correctly when dark mode was enabled.

This update follows the larger Rainlendar 2.24.0 release, which introduced several notable improvements, including dark mode support on Windows, better graphics rendering performance, alternative font rendering options, improved monitor handling when connecting or disconnecting displays, and refinements to event and task display behavior.

For Skinbase users, Rainlendar remains especially interesting because it sits between productivity software and desktop customization culture. It is not only a calendar, reminder tool, and task list, but also a skinnable desktop object that can become part of a personalized workspace.

In an era where many productivity tools live inside browsers or mobile apps, Rainlendar continues to represent a classic desktop idea: important information can stay visible directly on the desktop, styled to match the user’s environment.

Rainlendar 2.24.1 is available now from the official Rainlendar website and the project’s GitHub release page.
