=) It´s a secret. Quite easy, I copied the text meter 5 times. For are black, one is white. Each of the four black meters is adjusted 1 pixel left, up, right, down, thus giving the appearance of an outline. It is in fact the same thing drawn five times on top of each other.

simple, but that does not mean it doesn´t beautify a desktop
i´m curious to see how you did the outline.
