Ballz on Deck
By BluesFan63A Cinema 4D work experimenting with HDRI.It is so
much faster than V-Ray,and the result is almost as
stunning.I just added a sky and played with the shadows
a little to give it a little more pop.I love V-Ray,but
this rendered in 6 minutes!1600 x 1200 300 d.p.i.

Thank you!Not very original(spheres on a plane)but I like the reflections
from the HDRI.And like I said,a lot faster in Cinema 4D.

Hello BuesFan, I only know about HDRI in terms of photo editing.
Now, this may seem a stupid question for you, but how exactly did you get the reflections of the building?
Did you build the scene in C4D first, including the building?
Great render anyway, love it!

To answer Sommerwind´s question:Your question is not stupid.I remember someone telling me that the only stupid question is the one not asked..I used this tutorial [LINK]´s 2 spheres wrapped around the scene. One is basically for the HDRI reflection(the building),and the other is for lighting
(the environment).I used GI and Advanced Render with a sky object. The material for the spheres is chrome(default with C4D)and for the plane I used an Arroway texture with bump map and specular color.Very easy to set up and rendered in minutes.

Woops! It seems that the link has It´s on the end which will give a 404 error.Just delete It´s after the forward slash in the address bar and it should work. In fact... [LINK]
Let´s try it again!

Vue d´esprit 4, that is what I am using. Actually it´s a landscape generator, but I use it for different stuff also.
You can add 3D objects and all sorts.
Have you seen images by Kenwas here on SB? He is using the latest version of Vue........must be7.5 Infinite or so, and he makes some fantastic images with it.
