Return to a Grateful Nation 3D

The H.M.S. Victory returns to Portsmouth carrying the body of Horatio Nelson killed in action in the great British naval victory known as the Battle of Trafalgar. His body was sealed in a cask of brandy to try to preserve him for and open casket funeral, lashed to the main mast and guarded day and night. The ship made it back to England on Dec 5, 1805. It was a bittersweet victory and return to a grateful nation.
