I always love your PP. My HDR images always look terrible. Maybe I should try following your steps sometime.
How many pictures do you usually take when you make an HDR, and at what spread?

Bret....if I shoot bracketed its mostly 3 images at -2,0,2....6 or more at 1 stop increments would be better...it won´t look right if anything is moving, like water, clouds etc.....mostly its a single file conversion, but it has to be a raw file and I keep the strength down or you get all kinds of weird artifacts...you can use a JPEG file, but convert it to a 16 bit TIFF first and then use the exposure tool to get two additional images or you could just tone map the single TIFF, but it has to be 16 bit
