Leaving Norfolk

You have no idea what those carriers look like when they come over the horizon and you are on a vessel 437´ long and forty three feet wide ....One minute you are the worlds biggest destroyer and the next you look like a lifeboat from the carrier and they are still twelve miles away! I live near Norfolk mountainhawk and get to see them all the time. The size is indeed incredible!
