Mussel Rock
By ernieleoThe Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Preserve sits among a range of towering, rolling sand mountains, the highest sand dunes on the west coast. The north end of the preserve is bordered by the Santa Maria River on the county line. At the mouth of the river is a wetland area, providing a habitat for migrating shorebirds and native waterfowl. The south end of the dune complex is bordered by Mussel Rock, a 450-foot promontory jutting out into the sea

Startlingly beautiful ...but does it provide good mussels?
only joking, funnily enough that´s what I had for my supper last night.
I especially like the skyline in this... looks like it could have been made in a 3d terrain program it fits the image so perfectly.
Great photgraph
