The Gnome Project 3D

The GNOME project is an international effort to create an easy-to-use computing platform built entirely from free software. This goal includes creating tools which help developers write new stand-alone application software, selecting applications for inclusion in the official product, and working on what is known as the desktop environment — the programs which manage application launching, file handling, and window and task management.
A great deal of software is created or hosted under the umbrella of the GNOME project, some of which is collected and released as GNOME. GNOME is used in conjunction with an operating system such as Unix, Linux, BSD or Sun Microsystems' Solaris, to create a fully functional computer system. Well, Captain....maybe it is, but i think it´s not more commercial than any windows xp or vista wallpaper, it´s just less known.

From time to time, i do some job about some computer project or computer company, like Intel, Java, Windows and now Gnome. For those who use free OS like Unix based systems - Linux - Gnome, like KDE or BlackBox, is a very helpful addition, and it´s free.
For those who use windows systems, well, hope they like the graphics of this paper, at least.

Nonetheless, i respect your point of view.

I should have followed thru with my thoughts which are as follows; yes, a bit on the the promotional side*sounds nicer* BUT I do believe this WP has a fantastic ´idea´ *the foot print* the gradient focal point, the design is kewl, and finally, an overall great wallpaper A w a r d
