Taken 30 mins or so before my previous Damselfly pic. You can see how short and fat the body is compared to the later pic. The Damselfly has to pump fluid arounds its body and wings to extend them. Canon EOS30d Sigma 105mm macro 1/6sec f7.1.

    30 minutes? I admire your dedication .... it was born in Europe.

    In the States they won´t acknowledge human kind has influenced changes to the nature of the planet, they won´t get in bed with the idea of cutting down carbon emmisions, yet they´ve signed up to eat anything ( chocolate bugs... cockroaches, etc ) ... strange people!
