Dark Intent

The darkness surrounds Lei, then those eyes. Stalked eyes like a Crab with monstrous body fading into black behind. It moves for Lei and he cries out. Those torchlight eyes dart past Lei to either side and the creature's maw becomes the world...the world goes black.

'Thumpa Thumpa'. The sound is deafening now. It surrounds and penetrates Lei's being, then before him the monstrous source. Barely visible amid the black is the pulsing red heart of the beast. 'Thumpa Thumpa'. Lei looks up at the wall of pulsing muscle. 'Thumpa Thumpa'. Upon the flesh is burned a spiralling glaive. A sign of dark intent. 'Thumpa Thumpa'.
