Iain couldn´t have said it better With features like this, and the type of features granted along with duration are some of the reasons I pulled my gallery off this site. I don´t agree with the popular eye for art here. I thought the last feature was the ´site´ feature based on the time it spent in the slot Don´t be mad with me, I calls it like I sees it Really now I don´t apologize, I just don´t see this as feature material...I keeps it real.

Captain America I don´t mind negative comments at all but it would be nice to know what you don´t like about my pic.

I must admit I do agree with most of the features on this site they do seem to be the pick of the day/week.

I am not sure how or who picks the features and decides how long they stay for. How long did the last feature get? I don´t really notice as I link to this site direct to my stats page so never get to see the features.

Hey Brett and I really didn´t mean for your feelings to be hurt. I´ll explain myself in this fashion;
1. The popular eye is ´the public´ who does the downloading. Not Nikos.
2. Some of the artist out here work hard on wallpapers and they are for this slot, wallpapers.
3. This is a PICTURE, correct? Photo feature is where I´d expect to find this featured, not in the wallpaper slot.
4. It doesn´t matter what I think anyways
5. Enjoy your feature and I do apologize to you if I upset you in any way or form.
6. Comes after ´5´, etc.
I´ll just fade away now, again, apologies if you were hurt...poof

My feelings are not hurt I just do not want people to stop posting photo wallpapers on this site because some people think they are not proper works of art.

This picture is in the slot Wallpaper as it is designed to look good as a windows wallpaper and complement your icons. Note the dark areas for icons and the general subdued tones.

Some of my work is in the photo section as I feel it would not look good as a wallpaper or is in the wrong screen format.

I am sure many of the artists on this site work hard on their work but a stunning work of art does not always make it a good wallpaper. A photo or painting you hang on your wall will not always work as a wallpaper.

If you take a look at some of the photos on this site you must agree they are works of art. Its just a different type of skill. Not just anyone can take good photos it takes sometimes decades of hard work and practice.

Some of my photos are planned a year in advance just waiting for the plants/trees to be at their best. My painting of the bike took around 3 months to do but has not had many downloads. I painted it because I enjoyed doing it, but I´m not going to moan just because it´s not popular.

By the way have you not noticed the Photo section under Wallpapers? My photo is in there under flowers.

Hope you have not faded away just yet.

Hey Brett, you have a good point about others not putting photos in the wallpaper section, I never noticed the aforementioned photography section in the wallpaper upload section. Oooops! I never imagined it took so much time and effort on your part to wait for the moment of opportunity for the perfect photo either. I feel really awful about all I said. I was very naïve and I apologize most sincerely.
